What is English for Specific Purposes (ESP)?
English for Specific Purposes is English taught around one field of work or one exam rather than around general conversation. Instead of a broad syllabus, the course is built from the terminology, documents and communication situations your profession actually uses, which is why it moves faster than a general English course.
How long does it take to raise my IELTS or OET score?
It depends on your starting level and how much you practise between lessons, but most learners working towards a half-band or one-band IELTS improvement plan for eight to twelve weeks of weekly lessons. Your first lesson includes a diagnostic so you get a realistic timeline before you commit.
Are the lessons one to one or in a group?
Every lesson is private and one to one, online, scheduled around your timezone. That is what makes it possible to rebuild the syllabus around your field, your deadline and the specific problems you hit at work.
Do you teach OET for nurses and doctors specifically?
Yes. OET preparation covers all healthcare professions, including nursing, medicine, dentistry and pharmacy, and the materials are chosen for your profession: your referral letters, your patient consultations, your clinical reporting language.
Which ICAO level can Aviation English lessons prepare me for?
Lessons prepare pilots, cabin crew and air traffic controllers for ICAO Level 4 and above, including TEA preparation, standard phraseology, and the plain-English skills examiners test with non-routine situations.
Do you teach students in Turkey?
Yes. Lessons are online and scheduled around your timezone, so students in Turkey and anywhere else in the world are welcome. This site is also available in Turkish.
How do I book a lesson?
